How to Take Your Measurements
- To get started, grab a measuring tape and note down your numbers.
- For the most accurate results, make sure the tape stays level—using a mirror or a helping hand can be useful.
- Measure over light clothing or underwear, keeping the tape comfortably snug.
Here are the key measurements to take: bust, waist, and hip circumference.
1. Bust: Measured horizontally at the fullest point of the bust.
2. Waist: Measured at the narrowest part of the torso, around the level of the navel or slightly above at the natural waistline. The tape measure should be snug but not tight – you should be able to fit one finger between the tape and your body.
3. Hips: Measured horizontally at the widest point of the hips. If it's difficult to find the widest spot, you can move the tape measure slightly up and down to locate it. The most important thing is to make sure the measuring line stays horizontal.
4. Inseam length: Measured in a straight line from the crotch to the floor without shoes.
You can also compare your body measurements to our size chart below. The chart shows fixed body measurements, and the garments always include ease for comfort. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger or smaller size depending on whether you prefer a more fitted or looser garment.
